About the event

We have had so many conversations with runners who wanted an event that was in-between a 10k and Half Marathon, so we've listened, and we are excited to announce our new 9 -ish mile run, The Runningmonk Midway Trail. This run will take in sections of the Shropshire Way, Kerry Ridgeway and Offa's Dyke, and will have you winding down single tracks, forestry and through the beautiful local footpaths.

Coming in at around 1700ft of elevation, the route will have a few challenges along the way, but with no cut off time, there is no pressure, meaning you can run at your own pace, taking in all the scenery as you go. The trail will be well marked and marshalled, chip timed by our friends at Readysetgotiming, and you will all get a finisher's medal and a yummy doughnut to refuel with when you cross that finish line.

We truly believe that running is for everyone and with that in mind, this event is suitable for runners of all ages and abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and is perfect for those new to running, so why not lace up your trainers ang give it a try? Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome too, as we know how many of you love to run with your four legged friends, however, please note that some of the stiles are not dog friendly, so please ensure that the route is suitable for your furry friend.

Event registration will be the Church Barn, Bishop's Castle between 9am and 10am - but an email will be sent out with full details nearer the time. However, If you have any question's or queries in the interim, please pop a message to:
