This beautiful 50K route, has about 5000ft of elevation, made up of quiet back roads, peaceful trail, lush forestry, colourful meadows and fields, showcasing Shropshire's true beauty.

You will weave your way around sections of the Shropshire Way, Offa's Dyke path and the historic Kerry Ridgeway, taking in some of the best views Shropshire has to offer.  Single track, fields, and off grid footpaths await you, as you embark on what will feel like a real adventure.

The route will be fully waymarked and marsdhalled, and there will be three aid stations along the way at mile 9, 15 and 24, stocked with water, coke and lots of sweet and savoury goodies to keep you fuelled and moving forward.

We have created Runningmonk Trail Events, an Ultrarunning event company founded out of our love of trail and long distance running. We both have a  true passion for running and want to make our Ultras as inclusive and open as possible. We care about all of our runners and believe that running is for everyone.

We have no cut off times, and if you enter and are prepared to keep pushing forward to the end, we will be there with your finishers medal and a great big hug as you cross that finish line.

Our mission is one of inclusiveness, with the aim of encouraging people to try their first ever ultramarathon whilst giving experienced runners a great day out on a fantastic course, with a friendly and happy vibe.
